2. No cookies, no tracking

This website does not use cookies or any analytics, tracking or marketing tools. No content is loaded from external servers (e.g. fonts, maps or videos). A cookie banner is therefore not required.

The prevention time calculator works entirely in your browser. The values you enter are neither transmitted to the server nor stored. If you send me your result, the result text is copied into the contact form in your browser only. Data is only transmitted when you submit the form yourself (see section 4).

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Netlify. When you visit the website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data that your browser transmits automatically: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser type and operating system. This serves the security and stable operation of the website.

• Provider: Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) exists with Netlify and forms part of Netlify’s terms of use.
• Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in secure and error-free operation.
• Storage period: no more than 30 days, after which the access logs are deleted.
• Transfer to the USA: Netlify is based in the USA, so data may be processed there. Netlify states that it participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and additionally uses the Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission.

4. Contacting me

If you contact me by email, phone or via the contact form, I process your details (e.g. name, company, contact data, content of the enquiry) to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare a quote.

Contact form: The details from the form on the “Contact” page (name, email address, message and, optionally, company and phone number) are transmitted via the Netlify Forms service of my hosting provider (see section 3) and stored there. I receive a notification by email. Name, email address and message are mandatory. To protect against spam, Netlify uses the Akismet filter (Automattic, Inc., USA), which automatically checks the form data for spam. In addition, the form checks a hidden field and the time taken before submitting. No cookies are set and no captcha is used for this.

• Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures or of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Storage period: Enquiries are deleted as soon as they have been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply. This applies to the messages at Netlify as well as to the email notifications in my mailbox.

Important note: Please do not send medical findings or other health data by unencrypted email. Separate information applies to the processing of health data in the course of medical care; you will receive it before the examination.

5. External links

This website contains links to external sites (e.g. Vienna Medical Chamber, Austrian Federal Legal Information System, ORF and LinkedIn). Videos or other content are not embedded; you only leave this website when you click a link. The privacy policy of the respective operator then applies.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). Please use the contact details above for this.

7. Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority:
